Urban morphology has suffered an irresolvable inconsistency and heterogeneity. The urban landscape has no meaning for the users except the confused gray masses. All the buildings of Tabriz city have neither diversity nor homogeneity. They are neither different nor similar. What is the solution? Recognition of patterns and typology One of the patterns that we see in abundance in the city is the receding roofs in line with the shading rules. which shows itself in the form of sloping roofs or stepped terraces on the last floors. Most of these roofs and terraces are marginalized from the design dimension and as if they should remain hidden. While in our opinion, this model is a suitable reference point for diversifying the micro-grains and forming a unique identity and character in the community of these micro-grains, i.e. the city.
